This Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) training program is designed to equip professionals with essential knowledge and skills in welding inspection, material testing, and compliance per ASME, AWS and ISO standards. AWS D1.1 – Structural Welding Code. ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System. Welding Inspection & NDT (Non-Destructive Testing): Visual Inspection (VT) – Acceptance criteria & defect identification. Radiographic Testing (RT) & Film Interpretation. Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT). Hardness, PMI, and Ferrite Testing Methods. Material Inspection & Quality Control: Review of Material Test Certificates (MTC). Understanding ASTM & ASME Material Specifications. Welding Consumables Selection & Storage Requirements. Inspection & Documentation Process: Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) & Welding Procedure Specification (WPS). Welder Qualification Testing (WPQ). Quality Control Plans (QCP) & Inspection Test Plans (ITP). Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) & Corrective Actions. Destructive & Mechanical Testing: Impact Test Requirements (as per ASME B31.3). Tensile, Bend, and Charpy Impact Tests. Final Examination & Certification: Open Book Exam – Tests theoretical knowledge of codes and standards. Closed Book Exam – Helps retain critical QA/QC concepts. Practical Review – Identify mistakes in PQR, WPS, and Inspection Reports. Certificate of Completion will be provided upon passing the exam.
