The knowledge needed to conduct manual and programmed TOFD testing on butt welds in plates, pipes, and pressure vessels is provided through the Time of Flight Diffraction course. The advantages and drawbacks of TOFD use, both theoretical and practical, are covered in the course. Our training uses all necessary equipment, including calibration blocks, validation samples, encoders, scanners for various applications, etc., to impart the necessary understanding for onsite implementation. We strongly advise learners to have Level II knowledge of the UT weld examination before taking this course. There will be an exam after the course. Training will be delivered by academic experts with experience in TOFD application and experienced TOFD practitioners.
